Yes, you can sing with your class!
Empowering primary teachers to lead engaging singing activities with confidence that keep pupils singing
Singing is a powerful way to enhance learning, foster community, and nurture creativity. It is part of the National Curriculum for music at KS1 and KS2 and is an important part of a child's development.
Leading singing activities, however, can be daunting if you are not confident about your own voice, or how to engage pupils who aren't confident with theirs.
What will be included?
This training event will:
- help you to learn and develop the fundamentals of singing and musicianship
- discover confidence in your own singing and how to model that with your pupils
- provide you with ideas for singing in the classroom that keeps the learning fresh and fun and encourages pupils to continue singing
