- Where and when
Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July, Denstone College, Denstone, Uttoxeter ST14 5HN – Open in Google Maps
- How to get there and where to check in
This will be confirmed closer to the event.
- What to bring
Your instrument, a pencil for rehearsals, enough clothes for three days, pyjamas, toiletries, towel, concert clothes and any personal items or medications that are needed.
- First day packed lunch
Please bring a packed lunch for the first day, and ensure it is nut-free.
- Concert clothes
White shirt/blouse, black trousers/skirt and shoes (note: no bow ties are needed anymore)

Sunday 19 July, 4.30pm at Repton 400 Hall Theatre – Open in Google Maps
- Tickets
Tickets are now available to buy for the concert (£10 + booking fee). As seating a little limited, we have a maximum of 2 tickets per family to begin with, and will release any remaining tickets in the week running up to the event. We recommend booking your tickets as soon as you can.

Answers to common questions
- Can parents stay and watch some of the course?
Unfortunately, we cannot host parents at the course other than during check in.
- Are there any refreshments outside of meals?
There may be basic refreshments available to buy. Water and hot drinks will be provided.
- Does anything need to be prepared in advance?
Unless you are sent repertoire in advance specifically, participants do not need to prepare anything before attending.
- Can over 18s drink alcohol / smoke?
Smoking and drinking is not allowed on the residential site at all.
- Can my child bring a friend?
Yes, but only if they apply for a place first and are accepted. We will not be accepting new players up to a month before a course starting.
Payments
- How do I make an online payment?
Please do this using Derbyshire County Council's payment service. This link is in your confirmation email too.
- Can I pay on arrival for the course?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or card payments when the course starts.
- I think something has gone wrong with my payment, what do I do?
