Ensembles and groups run on Tuesdays and Fridays at The William Allitt School, Newhall

Groups and ensembles

Choirs for singers of any ability

  • Junior Voices (Tuesdays)
    For singers of any ability aged up to 11 
  • Youth Choir (Fridays)
    For singers of any ability aged 11+

Beginner level

  • Club Band (Tuesdays)
    For woodwind and brass players able to play at least 2 notes. 

Some ability / intermediate ability

  • Junior Band (Tuesdays)
    For wind, brass and percussion players of approx grade 1-2 ability
  • Intermediate Wind Band (Fridays)
    For woodwind, brass and percussion players of approx. grade 2-3 ability
  • Family Brass Band (Tuesdays)
    For all brass players of any ability and with no age limit
  • Youth Choir (Fridays)
    For singers of any ability aged 11+

More advanced ability

  • Senior Wind Band (Fridays)
    For wind, brass and percussion players of approx grade 4+ ability
  • Cantabile (Tuesdays)
    A community choir for more advanced singers (open to adults)
