It’s a rare chance to connect with colleagues across all phases, spark fresh ideas, and strengthen your music education networks—while also spending valuable time in your own school settings and as part of the wider community.

Curriculum Connections: Strengthening the KS2–KS3

Transition Join us for a valuable and insightful session focused on what pupils are currently learning in their music classrooms across primary and secondary schools.

This collaborative discussion will highlight key curriculum themes and teaching approaches, helping to build stronger continuity and progression between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

A great opportunity to share practice, spark ideas, and support smoother transitions for learners.

Time in individual settings

Workshops are currently being finalised for individual primary and secondary school settings, with a focus on supporting curriculum development and subject leadership.

Primary sessions will include guidance on School Music Development Plans, selecting or building online curriculums, and key priorities in Early Years music.

Secondary sessions will offer insights from GCSE examiners’ reports with opportunities for coursework moderation, exploration of music technology at KS3/4, and reflective approaches to composing.
